Well, it's been some time and I am wondering... what are the Marvels doing now? I heard that Calvin, Sam, and Jena each won a ribbon at the science fair -- I KNEW those Marvels were smart. And Jena got a new dog. And Maddie visited Costa Rica. And Jack moved a little farther north.
And what is Ms. Moore doing these days? Well, she is currently working as a librarian at a PK school. And so perhaps to spice things up a bit we can add some details about some good books that Marvels and others might like to read.
A funny book we read in the library last week is by Jez Alborough and it's called, "Where is My Teddy?" In it a little boy called Freddie seems to have lost his teddy. But then when he finds it, it is waaaaaaay too big! Alborough has several clever books about bears and the shenanigans they get into.
And of course, there is the ever funny "The Jolly Postman.. or Other People's Letters." In it a bike-riding postal worker pedals his way from Three-bears-cottage, to witch's hovel, and even Wolfie's Lobo-Lair. But no one gets eaten and in the end there are even presents to be had.

Hi Ms. Moore! Just in case you are still keeping up with this blog, we thought we would let you know what we were up to. We moved to Katy and Kendall loves it. She misses her old schoolmates terribly and you, of course! She is keeping busy with soccer and gymnastics. She would love a pet hamster or a frog. Math and Science are still her favorite subjects!
